CVE-2026-5502
The Tutor LMS plugin for WordPress contains a security flaw that allows unauthorized users to alter course content in versions prior to 3.9.8. Specifically, the function responsible for updating course order does not adequately verify user permissions before making changes to the database. As a result, attackers with even basic access can manipulate course structure by detaching lessons from topics and rearranging menu orders.
