CVE-2024-3344
The Otter Blocks plugin for WordPress versions 2.6.8 and earlier contains a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability that can be exploited through SVG file uploads. Attackers with author-level or higher privileges can inject malicious scripts into pages by uploading specially crafted SVG files, as the plugin fails to properly sanitize input and escape output. These injected scripts will execute when other users view the affected pages. The vulnerability has been fixed in version 2.6.9.
