CVE-2024-2729
The Otter Blocks plugin for WordPress contains a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability affecting versions 2.6.5 and earlier, where insufficient sanitization and escaping of user input during post creation allows authenticated users with contributor-level permissions or higher to embed malicious scripts into pages. When other users visit pages containing this injected code, the scripts will execute in their browsers, potentially compromising their accounts or stealing sensitive information. The vulnerability was fixed in version 2.6.6.
